A Daily To-Do List doesn't require an account, and we don't want your data. Your tasks, lists, and labels are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your own device. We never see them, and they're never sent to a server, unless you explicitly click "Share" on a list.

When you share a list, that list's tasks are stored on our server so the link can be viewed and edited by anyone you send it to. Sharing a list is optional and only affects that one list — everything else stays local to your device.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed and how long sessions last. Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect your IP address and approximate location; it never has access to your tasks, which stay in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us or to Google. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles this data.

We don't use ad networks or any other third-party analytics that identify you personally. If you clear your browser's site data, your local tasks are gone — we can't recover them, since we never had a copy.
